This past Saturday, July 30^th  Chicago Fashionable fav’s  SHOWED UP and OUT at the Cocktails with Claire and Miss Diddy LA’ event which was held at the 19 East Venue in the South Loop.  As I entered the expansive and beautiful venue, I was blown away after seeing all the various vendors with their beautiful clothing and accessories that would be for purchase after the panel discussion!  Early on in one of my posts about this event, I mentioned that folks should expect to SLAY and trust me they did not disappoint!  So many stylish trends, both clothing and hair to just SWOON over!  So many that I almost expected a runway show to kick off at any moment!

 

 

The panel included: Claire Sulmers of FashionBombDaily; Miss Diddy of The Brand Group; celebrity makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff; Bobby Simmons, former NBA player turned entrepreneur; and radio personality Kendra G from WGCI.  They spoke on many topics including fashion, their careers, what motivated them to get in the business, and how they have been able to balance work and life.  AND…I had the pleasure of meeting the always haute Claire Sulmers!

 

 

 

It truly was a Superb Saturday ending by sipping on prosecco and networking!  Bonus?  A portion of the proceeds went to Cure Violence, an awesome organization that helps curb violence across the country.
