Happy Friday All!!!!  As I am just now fully waking up from last night’s  massive tasting experience at Navy Pier! That is correct First Bites Bash is the official kick-off event for the 11th annual Chicago Restaurant Week, produced by Choose Chicago and hosted by Lee Wolen, executive chef and partner at Boka restaurant in Lincoln Park.  Held at the magnificent Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier, savory and sweet food tastings were prepared and served by 60 of Chicago’s most celebrated chefs and restaurants.

Choose Chicago Restaurant Week starts today and goes through Thursday, February 8th. Restaurant patrons have the opportunity to enjoy specialty prix fixe menus from more than 370 participating Chicago Restaurants. The multi-course dining experience starts at $22 for brunch and lunch and $33 and/or $44 for dinner (excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity). Click  here     for deets!
